Mulan 2020 cast characters trailer live action

Top 10 reasons Mulan is the best Disney princess ever

Number 10:

The song I'll make a man out of you . Mulan is actually based on a real person or not so you longer self may or may not have ever existed with all the force of a great typhoon .

Number 9 :

Figuring out the arrow pole oh my god I love this scene I remember seeing it in the  kid just getting chilled like .I thought it was so cool that she figured out how to climb the pole with the weights by wrapping it around because like it's not obvious to the audience how they're gonna figure that out and you learn the lesson right there with it in order to beat the Huns. We're not just gonna have to be strong but also smart and resourceful and it just makes me smile whenever.

 Number 8:

Mulan added a condition by which one can become a Disney Princess if you didn't know their actual requirements characters have to meet to become an official Disney princess first draft up a primary role in a Disney animated movie - you can't have been introduction a sequel and 3 you have to be human or mostly human every yell in addition to those three you also have to either have been born royal Mary Royal or commit an act of heroism every single Disney princess falls into the royal or married royal category except .Mulan she basically kicked so much but in the movie they had to come up with a new criteria so that they could officially add her to the Disney Princess lineup.

Number 7:

She's not driven by romance yes she does end up with a guy at the end but what's so great about Milan is that romance is never her driving force .She is attracted to shame for sure I mean Jesus who wouldn't be but at no point is winning him over romantically part of why she does anything the other hand she does end up winning his respect anyway just as a soldier.

Number 6:

The fan moves yeah you know what I'm talking about final battle on the roof Sean you lunges with the word Mulan intercept it with a fan snap quiz boom disarmed.

Number 5:

Mulan personally defeats the villain yes I'm going to say more because one of my common complaints about most like movies where there's a good guy versus bad guy final battle at the end is when the good guy wins by just exploiting some loophole or destroying a power source you're gonna help from a friend or just out smart not like skill versus skill. I mean I get why they do this because if the good guy was just naturally more capable and powerful than bad guy then we couldn't have any conflict. He wouldn't you know be a threat but move along does none of that crap she faces her enemy one-on-one and he is like by far more capable than her but she just straight kicks his butt in it no point needs any rescuing.

 Number 4:

Humility even after literally saving the entire country of China in front of the entire Imperial City she wants no form of recognition or honors only to return home actually even turns out an offer to be one of the Emperor's advisors mean everything she did was just for her family and for her country nothing for personal glory.

Number 3:

Her willingness to get married at the beginning of the movie okay that might sound weird but stick with me so at the beginning of the movie. we see Mulan getting ready for some sort of matchmaking service which ultimately doesn't work out and that she sings a song about not seeing herself in the beer and we're all like oh my god! that's not who she wants to be but what are they presses me is that she's going through with it anyway it doesn't really put up any resistance about it remember .When she's singing that song the idea of going off to war hasn't been introduced to her yet so the song isn't like I want to be more manly or I'm like a tomboy it's just she doesn't really know who she is yet but she's willing to give up her own personal desires to honor her family's traditions and I think we can all agree it can be very difficult to do that some times.

Number 2:

Returning to war okay so when Mulan makes the decision to leave but so she can save her father's life even though. She knows she's risking her family's honour and possibly her own life if she gets discovered what she eventually is she's part of my shining because she just saved his life and you know destroyed pretty much the whole young army as far as they know and of course by pardon I mean left all al one on the side of it snowing now so that sucks but the point is she got away with it her father didn't have to go to war her family wasn't honored and she kept her life so mission accompli she except she sees Shawn you rise from the now and decide she needs to reunite with the army and warn them about the coming attack even though they just left her on the side of a mountain to die who stands up for their country that much after being treated .so poorly by it Imean that's dedication right there.

Number 1:

Of course is what the whole movies based on Mulan's decision to join the army to spare her father and I made this number woman because of Milan's reasoning she does this because it's the right thing to do not because she's trying to prove some point about what women can do and how they're as capable as men....

Mulan movie review

I wanted to start reviewing older movies so I figured what better  place to start one of the all-time greatest animated Disney flicks back to the 90s when this film premiered it was pushing cultural barriers in terms of the stories being told in a similar weights that Moana is doing now before that point Disney as a company was very much lacking in diversity for the proper representation thereof but Milan made more so than any film before it was their chance to reverse that trend but does this film hold up today well let's take a closer look the story of Milan is actually a pretty simple one China is currently at peace having recently constructed. The Great Wall but our building for the evening Xiang Yu and the hugs come to challenge China once he arrives the military constricts any able-bodied men from every family to fighting the war to come the family otherwise known as Long's family has a patriarch who's seen better days but that's not keeping him from serving his country and as we know Milan takes his place make some lucky friends joins the military makes some more wacky friends and they engage in the worlds of greatest training montage that even rocky himself would have to respect then the troops head to the front after some meddling by Mu Shu only to be greeted about is a great cinematic in history with what few men they have they now face.

The full force of the hun army but thanks to some ingenuity bar-tailed character and all-around badass the Huns are mostly buried unfortunately for injury reveals her true identity shanks spares her but leaves her out in the cold as the rest of the troops leave and celebrate their assumed victory but then Xiang Yu and some of his men make to the palace and almost win if not for the power of cross-dressing Mulan defeats Shan you say it's China returns from a hero and all the stuff .The movie was singing about comes to fruition she brought honor to her family she did so well being who she was inside she was able to handle being a man and the rigorous training that came with it and Shang mousiest mallanna as a girl who is definitely worth fighting for we all know. The story but what does it all mean below the surf acelet's start at the very beginning what's the real catalyst here not shun young but more so the heavily really cultural norms of China that would naturally discourage someone like Mulan from being exactly who she is the movie does well in the opening minutes to convey both tradition and the various way Mulan as a character goes against that flow in the biggest aspect of Chinese tradition focused on here is gender roles with are expected to get married and look in way well men need to fight but what's important to note here is that Mulan to her benefit isn't presented as this feminist crusader against the status quo she does think it's kind of stupid for her father to have to fight with a bum leg well if some of the other able-bodied men around but the reason she defies that is to save him more so than the challenge in in belt gender stigma .
